Martin Sepion
Senior Adviser
Martin has responsibility for supporting the adult learning sector across London. In addition, he provides specialist support in change management, strategy development, and systems integration for both the further and higher education sectors. He has over 25 years experience of working in the post-16 education sector and has held a variety of managerial roles at Waltham Forest College, City Literary Institute and Redbridge Institute of Adult Education. Educated at a Montessori secondary school, he gained a degree in Modern European History at Greenwich University and a PGCE at the Institute of Education, University of London. He is currently working towards an MA in Contemporary British History at Kings College, London.
Martin is excited by the potential of technology to transform education and streamline the business processes that deliver education. He has developed a number of new services within the RSC offer including a cross London VLE strategy initiative and the development of an IT Service review offer to FE and HE colleges. He is a committee member of the Green Specialist Group of the British Computer Society.
Martin climbed Mont Blanc in 1983. He is keen on cooking and is also interested in astronomy and natural history.
